The next regular meeting will be held at 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 8th, at the Local Union Hall.  The Executive Board will meet the same evening at 6:30 p.m. 

 

Effective week ending July 3rd S.U.B. pay was increased to $100.00 per week.

Make your plans to attend the 2010 Labor Day March on September 6th. We will meet at 8:00 a.m., in the parking lot of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 58 Union Hall which is located at 1358 Abbott Street, Detroit. The March will begin at 9:00 a.m.. We encourage all members, their families and friends to attend.

Effective August 1st monthly dues for all active journeymen and apprentices will be $25.00 Please note that you are considered an active Journeyman whether you are working or unemployed.

 A speedy recovery to all of our sick and injured members.

 

                            LOCAL 704 BYLAWS-ARTICLE XIV-Section 1.

Members found working for less than the prevailing scale of wages shall be fined not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00).

ARTICLE VII-Section 9. Members shall immediately report any violations of the work rules to the Business Manager.
