Greg Bellanger proudly displays his award for his excellent job at the U.A. Regional Apprentice Contest held in Indianapolis.

The students must be able to cut a piece of 4 inch pipe with a torch and then groove it without any further preperation done to the pipe.

Class "Venus" struggles with an 2 1/2 inch fire hose with 170 lbs of water pressure.

The Brighton area Fire Department was extremely happy with the training cart that our apprentices designed and built for them. Stephen Williams jr did the awesome art work.

A special "Thanks" goes out to Kent King at V.F.P. Fire Systems for allowing us to use their lift gate truck to deliver the cart to Brighton. Apprentice Greg Howard helps to secure the cart for transport.

Apprentice Nate Burton answers questions at the Redford Township Fire Department's Open House held Sunday, October 7th. The Open House is held annually during National Fire Prevention Week and provides us with an opportunity to answer questions the general public may have about residential sprinkler systems. We also stress the importance of having any sprinkler system installed right the first time as the Members of Sprinkler Fitters Local 704 do.

 

Class Mars takes the idea of a "Hose Monster" one step further with their "Drain Dragon"
