   The next regular meeting will be held at 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 21st, at the Local Union Hall. The Executive Board will meet the same evening at 6:30 p.m..

   ATTENTION: Due to high unemployment in the area, and according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the ovetime ban will go into effect on December 24th. It is the objective that only emergency overtime is allowed. Emergency overtime shall be defined as "only that overtime necessary to restore an existing system to service." All other requests for overtime must be submitted in writing to the Secretary and Chairman of the Overtime cannot be worked until approved by the committee in writitng."

     S.I.S. Fund Educational meetings will be held on June 30th and July 21st at the I.B.E.W. Hall located at 1358 Abbott St., Detroit, 48226. The meetings will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.. All members and their significant others are encouraged to attend. Expect correspondence in the mail regarding these important meetings.

    

      M.U.S.T. safety module testing is now available to all members at the Local Union Hall. Please contact Joe Duquet for more details.

     Locals 704, 98 and 636 will be hving their 2nd Annual Retirees Golf Outing on Tuesday, July 8th, at the Jackal at Mount Brighton. It will be a scramble format, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Tickets are $50.00, which includes; 18 holes of golf with a cart, brats, chips and a beverage on the turn. A prime rib dinner will follow golf. There will be a cash bar, 50/50 raffle and skins for $20.00 a team. For more information or to make reservations, call Dan Hall at (734) 641-2289. Money must be in by Wednesday, June 11th.

     The Local 704 Golf League has started play. Tee time is 4:30 p.m. every Thursday. Everyone is welcome and you pay only when you play. Come out and enjoy the 10th year of golf at Billy Rogell Heavenly Golf Course. Any questions, contact Tim Trujillo at the Hall.
